Key Purpose

To support the execution of the shopping centre marketing strategy and promotional plan, and related activities for Centurion Mall Shopping Centre. This role will report to the Redefine Retail Marketing Manager with a dotted line to Centre Manager. 

Key Outputs

• Assist in Executing the Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
• Act as brand custodian by managing CI and brand guidelines across all relevant platforms
• Manage social media, digital platforms and the Centre website (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) in line with Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
o Maintain/update with relevant information  
o Respond to and manage posts appropriately. Manage crisis communications as per Redefine policy and escalate speciality queries to relevant managers for appropriate response
• Assist in executing and managing Promotions, Events and Exhibitions as per approved Centre Marketing Strategy
• Assist in executing Customer communication as per Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
o Maintain and build customer database
o Communicate to customer database (sms, email, social media)
o Generate and distribute newsletters and content for all communications platforms
o Crisis communication to database
• Assist in Executing Tenant relations
o Generate and maintain a Tenant electronic database as required for the marketing services
o Assist in preparing Welcome and information pack and house rules
o Assist in Production and distribution of a monthly Tenant Newsletter and any other ad hoc marketing related Tenant Communication
o Assist in arranging monthly Tenant Meetings and presentations/showcasing
o Assist in Managing a Tenant Profile Form
• Assist in Overseeing and managing Customer Care Kiosk
o Manage customer complaints & feedback
• Assist in managing Exhibitions & Court Space according to Centre guidelines and according to Centre’s brand positioning
o Ensure that exhibitors set up and take down exhibits timeously.
o Ensure that exhibitors adhere to council and Owners’ rules, regulations, standards and procedures (as contained in Redefine Exhibitions Contract).
o Collect exhibitor sales prior to the exhibition taking place?? 
o Assist in Managing process in accordance with Redefine Exhibitions Contract
• Assist in Implementing Centre-specific CSI and Sponsorship strategies and related activities


• Other duties:
o Manage the sourcing, ordering, stock-keeping and distribution of Marketing Materials (i.e. banners etc.), Promotional Items, Gifts and Corporate Stationery
o Establish and maintain a centralized archive / filing system of presentations, marketing materials and communications (press releases, newspaper and related articles)

The above duties are the main duties required to be successful in this role, however, the employee can be requested to perform other duties and responsibilities from time to time during his/her employment with the company, based on its operational requirements. Reporting: This function will report to the Centre Manager and Retail Marketing Manager


• Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
