Key Purpose

To manage and execute the shopping centre marketing strategy and promotional plan, and related activities to support the overall Redefine Retail Marketing Strategy and Objectives. This role will report to the Redefine Retail Marketing Manager and a dotted line to the Centre Manager.  

Key Outputs
  • Formulate & Execute the Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
  • Implement and manage CI and brand guidelines across all relevant platforms
  • Manage social media, digital platforms and the Centre website (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) in line with Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
  • Execute and manage Promotions, Events and Exhibitions as per approved Centre Marketing Strategy within approved budget parameters
  • Execute Customer communication as per Centre Marketing Strategy and Promotional Plan
  • Plan & Execute Tenant relations
  • Liaise with and manage appointed media and advertising agencies and suppliers
  • Oversee and manage Customer Care Kiosk and staff
  • Market, Promote & manage Exhibitions & Court Space according to set targets within Centre guidelines and according to Centre’s brand positioning
  • Implement centre-specific CSI and Sponsorship strategies and manage activity aligned with the Centre Marketing Strategy
  • Management and implementation of the annual Centre Marketing and promotions Budget
  • Monitor, review and report on all retail marketing activity and results on a monthly and quarterly basis (will also be required to present these in monthly management meetings
Competencies

Qualification and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in retail marketing
  • Marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification

 

Job Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Marketing and Branding principles
  • Knowledge of Public Relations
  • Knowledge of Event Management
  • Knowledge of various promotional activities
  • Knowledge of the marketing mix
  • Knowledge of online media and social media
  • Sales experience
